Cloud-managed access points are meticulously designed for the stringent demands of businesses. A wide range of indoor and outdoor options, features that empower coverage, and elegant forms that don’t sacrifice function ensure consistent high-speed coverage.

Data Center Server Cabinet:

Server Cabinet has front / rear doors, side panels and four adjustable vertical mounting rails (posts). It generally refers to “enclosed rack”. Since the doors and side panels can be locked, enclosed racks provide physical equipment security at the rack level. Despite the benefits of network cabinets, they also pose some challenges – particularly in the area of cooling. A data center server rack cabinet, obviously, has much less access to outside air. So, it will require some kind of venting for air cooling.

Wall Mount Rack:

Wall mount rack is designed to be attached to the wall, in order to save floor space and fit in areas where other racks can’t. It is generally in open frame or cabinet style, and mainly used for housing network equipment like fiber patch panels and switches. But it also has some cons: it is smaller than other rack cabinets, so can’t support much weight and does not offer the same amount of security that a full enclosed data center server rack could offer. If you run a small/home-based offices or larger offices that are looking to add an additional rack to an existing system, wall mount racks are an affordable option.

Basic PDUs:

A basic PDU is typically a power strip that accurately distributes the correct voltage and current to multiple outlets within an IT environment. The basic PDU can be used to supply power to IT equipment within racks.

Monitored PDUs:

As its name suggests, a monitored PDU visually displays the current electrical information. It is important to note that in a non-intelligent rack PDU, the display information can only be viewed locally, and lacks remote capabilities.

Metered Input PDUs:

This type of intelligent rack PDU displays metered power locally and over a secure network. The metering capability helps managers avoid overloading circuits. It also helps them to calculate the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) more easily.

Metered Outlet PDUs:

The meter power is displayed locally and over a secure network. It is used to accurately determine power usage, as well as the available capacity at the rack level. Finally, outlet-level metering can help managers efficiently identify the power consumption at the device and server level. This identification makes it easier to effectively allocate costs to specific data center customers.

Switched PDUs:

This type of intelligent rack PDU has the same features as the Metered Outlet PDU, while simultaneously providing the control needed to power on/off switches to specific outlets. The latter capability increases remote capabilities by allowing authorized users to securely power devices on / off, create power sequencing delays that minimize the risk of inrush currents, reduce the risk of unauthorized access to devices, and reduce the data centre’s costs and environmental footprint by powering off devices that are not being used.

Switched PDUs with Outlet Metering:

This type of intelligent rack PDU successfully combines all of the capabilities of Switched PDUs, Metered Outlet PDUs, and Metered Input PDUs. It is the most robust type of intelligent rack PDU and can be used to help data centres effectively reduce costs and maximize energy efficiencies across devices.
