Blade Servers efficiently runs your infrastructure applications with up to 80% better density than standard rack server deployments.

Public Cloud

Typically have massive amounts of available space, which translates into easy scalability. A public cloud is often recommended for software development and collaborative projects.

Private Cloud

Usually reside behind a firewall and are utilized by a single organization. A completely on-premises cloud may be the preferred solution for businesses with very tight regulatory requirements.

Hybrid Cloud

Combine public clouds with private clouds to allow the two platforms to interact seamlessly, Recommended for businesses balancing big data analytics with strict data privacy regulations.

Community Cloud

community clouds are a collaborative, multi-tenant platform used by several distinct organizations to share the same applications. The users are typically operating within the same industry or field.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Cloud storage is a cloud computing model that stores data on the Internet through a cloud computing provider who manages and operates data       storage as a service. It’s delivered on demand with just-in-time capacity and costs and eliminates buying and managing your own data storage  infrastructure. This gives you agility, global scale, and durability, with “anytime, anywhere” data access.

Business advantages of cloud storages are:

    • Instant transfer of data to a remote location
    • Enhanced safety and security features
    • There is no question of additional expenditure
    • A boon for start-up firms or existing organizations
    • Instant data recovery after a computer crash or cyber attacks
    • The uninterrupted continuation of business without challenges
    • Clients can enjoy expensive storage space

Direct-attached storage is a fairly basic, low-maintenance, low-cost solution where the storage system is a part of the actual host computer or connected directly to the host computer. This could be as simple as an external hard drive and it’s the opposite of network storage, where workstations and servers connect through  a network.

DAS is used in many IT infrastructures and larger DAS storage units can accommodate multiple disks in one enclosure.

Network attached storage (NAS) is an IP-based file-sharing device that’s attached to a local area network. NAS can serve a variety of clients and servers over an IP network. A NAS device uses its own operating system and integrated hardware and software to deliver a range of file service needs.

A Storage Area Network (SAN) is a centrally managed, high-speed storage network consisting of one or more vendor storage systems, storage management software, application servers and network hardware that allows users to access and utilize business information data. A SAN storage platform presents pools of raw data to a server infrastructure over a dedicated network connection.

Organizations of all sizes use Storage Area Networks (SANs) to increase storage utilization rates (i.e. multiple hosts accessing the storage devices), improve application performance and availability, and to heighten security and data protection capabilities. By presenting storage devices to hosts such that they appear to be locally attached storage, SANs also facilitate the presentation of storage to users.

Network attached storage enables organizations to:

    • Simplify management of data storage.
    • Enable comprehensive data access and filesharing.
    • Easily scale storage capacity and performance.
    • Increase efficiency with centralized storage.
    • Increase availability with efficient data replication and recovery options.
    • Secure data with user authentication and file locking.

Storage Area Network enables organizations to:

    • Reduces LAN bandwidth problems
    • Improved data security
    • Responsive backup
    • Increased scalability
    • Reliable disaster recovery

Virtualization is the process of creating a software-based, or virtual, representation of something, such as virtual applications, servers, storage, and networks. It is the single most effective way to reduce IT expenses while boosting efficiency and agility for all size businesses.

Virtualization technologies, or platforms, are more commonly referred to as hypervisors. There are several different hypervisors on the market — Hyper-V is Microsoft’s version; some others that are well-known are VMWare’s ESXi and vSphere, XenServer (Citrix), KVM Open Source Hypervisor and RHEV (Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization). The lion’s share of the virtualization market is currently divided between vSphere and Hyper-V.

Hyper-V is a Microsoft technology that allows users to create virtual computer environments and run and manage multiple operating systems on a single physical server.

    • The capability to create a virtual switch comes at no extra cost.
    • Hyper-V supports multiple operating systems.
    • It simplifies live migrations
    • It integrates seamlessly with other Microsoft products.

VMware vSphere is a server virtualization platform created by VMware. Essentially, vSphere encompasses a set of virtualization products, which include the ESXi hypervisor, vSphere Client, VMware Workstation, vCenter, and others. All of these products combined constitute the VMware infrastructure, which enables centralized management of the created virtual environment.

Virtualization can increase IT agility, flexibility and scalability while creating significant cost savings. Greater workload mobility, increased performance and availability of resources, automated operations – they’re all benefits of virtualization that make IT simpler to manage and less costly to own and operate. Additional benefits include:

    • Reduced capital and operating costs.
    • Minimized or eliminated downtime.
    • Increased IT productivity, efficiency, agility, and responsiveness.
    • Faster provisioning of applications and resources.
    • Greater business continuity and disaster recovery.
    • Simplified data center management.
    • Availability of a true Software-Defined Data Center.
